Editorial Review:

Description:
A send up of Blue Crush for the 40-something crowd. When buffed lesbian Sam (comedian Georgia Ragsdale) gets a call from her gal pal Val, she dons her bikini for a reckless Malibu weekend. At the beach, chic lawyer Maureen pushes Val to seduce the houseboy, while Sam is getting offers from every surfer babe in sight! When Val's ex shows up with his trophy wife, does Val have what it takes to survive the girl- fight? Will Maureen tell all Val's secrets? Will Sam get ALL the girls? (Please note: No actual surfing takes place in this film.)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Campy lesbian surfer babes. Hilarious!
This movie won the hearts (and the laughs) of queer film festival
audiences across the country. And it should. It's so sharp that even with next to no budget, Film Fatale productions has made one of the campiest, most successful lesbian parody flicks to date. It's one of those "it's sooooo bad, it's soooooo good."

Four old(ish) sexy surfer pals reunite on the beaches of Hawaii to celebrate a 40th birthday and a divorce (how gay). The ladies in bikinis hit the beach, cocktails in ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Sexy forty-something women at the beach!
The actresses in this one are gorgeous with lovely bodies, but the story was much too campy and not near enough erotic for me to give this one more than three stars. I liked the girl-girl potential, but the inclusion of the surfer-dude houseboy and the way-too-short love scenes between the women keeps this one from rating any higher. Also, nudity is basically non-existent, just a brief flash of one woman's breasts. I expected more. Campy can be fun, but this one's just campy-silly, not campy-erotic.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - very B flick funny
The bad shark, the dorky wigs, the movie is very Polyester. Great one lines. For a good laugh in the evening very worthwhile. Georgia Ragsdale is hilarious.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Hysterical!
I saw this movie at Outfest with a theater full of women, all of whom couldn't stop laughing. This movie has been made with no budget, but the producers made a conscious decision not to hide the lack of money and the result is that even the rubber shark is funny. Georgia Ragsdale has written some great one-liners for this. Beware, straight folks probably won't get a lot of the jokes. Even the cliche'd ending is okay because the trip there is so much fun.

You won't regret the 90 minutes spent ... Read More
