Here's the latest news from Janhammer.com. Apparently the music from Miami Vice is making a come back.
Jan recently teamed up with Rap/R&B artist "TQ" (Terence Quaites) to record an EP titled Crockett's Theme, which features some fresh new takes on his classic tune. Most notable is the new Radio Mix, featuring a rap and vocals by "TQ", which is the #1 most-downloaded track at iTunes in Germany and in the charts all across Europe. Also included are an R&B mix, an extended house mix, and Jan's 2004 instrumental version. At present, the EP by The Jan Hammer Project featuring TQ is only available in stores in Germany but the individual songs, or entire EP, can be downloaded from iTunes worldwide.

Surprise - Guys Who Make Movies Are Now Making Comic Books
By David Rosenthal
By now you're no longer surprised that comic book writers, stories, and characters are being gobbled up by the movie industry. You've seen a ton of superhero and comic book characters in the movie theaters and on television. And not just the obvious stuff, but lesser known stuff like Frank Miller's Sin City a few years ago, and more recently his take on 300. Maybe you're even very observant and a comic book reader and recognize a few names as the credits roll. Like have you noticed comic book writer Jeph Loeb's name, mostly known for his Spider-Man comics work, showing up on shows like Smallville, Lost, and Heroes? Or have you seen the name Brian Michael Bendis, current writer of the New Avengers comic, show up on the MTV version of Spider-Man?
In the Transformers DVD available October 16, 2007, you will find a special insert from Chevrolet. The website will offer you the opportunity to sign up for information on the upcoming Camaro launch. The sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the U.S. and Canada, except in the Province of Quebec, over the age of 18.
The Dark Knight Teaser Trailer. Christian Bale is back and this time he faces the Joker!
E! Online reports that James Marsters is returning for four episodes of "Smallville":
We last saw Marsters's character, Dr. Milton Fine (aka Brainiac), in Smallville's fifth season finale.
While it's unclear exactly how James is returning, I can tell you he's reprising the exact same character, he's returning to set very soon and his episodes begin airing in January.

The subject matter of course is very somber and just the thought brings back deeply felt emotions of that terrible day. It was a day that brought us all together as a nation, but a terrible day nonetheless for the loss of so many fellow Americans.
