 - I love this camera!Both auto and manual settings that make taking great pictures easy. Easy and straight forward to use. I previously had a simple point and shoot digital and I really like being able to have the manual control options with the Canon SD850. The colors are true, and can be enhanced by changing simple settings. I only found that some reds in certain lighting sometimes need a few changes in the settings. This camera is packed with great features, and has a terrific software package. Rating: - Very good mid-range cameraI wanted a mid-grade digital camera. Something that would fit in my pocket, but take GOOD pictures. I did't want a cheap digital camera, but I didn't want an SLR camera. This is a good mix. I can point and shoot or use advanced settings to get the perfect picture. I can take it anywhere. The best of all worlds. Rating: - a good point-and-shoot camerai am really satisfied with the overall quality of pictures taken using this camera. I bought this camera mainly because of its compact size and the picture megapixels this camera is able to capture. the face finder feature is just cool. and with the image stabilizer function, the picture looks even better. the only regret is, it doesnt have battery indicator.. the low battery warning only appeared when there is hardly any battery power left. Rating:  - It is a nice cameraI bought this one month back. Except for a corner softness in the shots that are taken at night, which of course can be removed to an extent in the manual settings, this camera is awesome. I would recommend this for people who are looking for a pocket camera and are not very keen in taking really amazing pictures that are compared to high end cameras. A family camera that is easy to operate. Rating:  - Great Pictures But BewareI've had this camera for 2 1/2 months. I've only used it a few times. Great pictures! I now have a lens era, restart camera issue. The lens will not retract. I have never dropped it, bumped it, or gotten it wet. Upon researching this camera, I found out that others have experienced the same problem. No help from Canon. They will only repair. So Beware!
