- great CD. worth every pennytiesto is awesome. this CD is awesome. buy it. you'll love it. lots or replay values. Rating: - Handful of great tracksWith the exception of Dance for LIfe, this album is pretty solid. Elements of Life is in my opinion by far the best track, but all of them are worthy. 2 stars??? cmon now.... go listen to some Van Dyk garbage... and if you have never been to a T.I.C experience my god are missing out. Rating: - from ignorance to enlightenmentI was born in ignorance. In my youth, I suffered through "pop" music and Country music. In my teens I turned on to the 60's Acid Rock creations from the Haight. And for years, in the 80's, I became addicted to the era's Avant-Garde Alternative music. And I became stuck in that era for years, because I considered any new music as pure "Junk." It took the purchase of a used iPod at a pawnshop to enlighten me. For on that iPod was a lot of dance music and a lot of Trance music that I recently came to appreciate through several podcasts. The name "Tiesto" kept coming up on those podcasts. And on that pawnshop iPod there was a couple of Tiesto's own podcasts. It just took one listen of such to keep me listening to them over and over. Others heavy into the genre and artist kept recommending "The Elements of Life, which I purchased. Now that I am enlightened, I recognize the genius and talent of Tiesto. After one listen, I came to the realization that music is far drom dead! And that Tiesto has propulsed the fringe genre -Trance- into the mainstram in a big way! The best track on the album is "Sweet Things." I can't quit listening to it on my pimped-out truck stereo! Tiesto better win that Grammy! He deserves it! Rating: - LameA seriously boring set of mixes. Tiesto doesn't try any chances on the cd and it will only leave you feeling cheated out of your 15$. Check out his Nyana album, very high quality. Rating: - Decent, at best.Far from Tiesto's best work. After listening to Tiesto's "Parade of Atheletes", I was sure this would be a great album as well. Not the case. A select few good tracks, but really not worth the money.
