- The company that makes them is completely wonderful.I bought this with dual hopes, that it would keep my pants up when I couldn't button them anymore, and that it would stay down in the back so that my pants wouldn't go too low when I bend over. It doesn't seem to do either, because it's made of kind of slippery material, and it seems to just ride up, so that it's not even touching my pants anymore (and so doesn't provide the protection in the back that I was hoping for). I bought the correct size based on the chart and advice, but perhaps if I tried a larger one, it would work better. Since writing that review, I have received a personal email from the company about my troubles, and she gave me lots of advice on how to wear it properly. She advised me to wear the narrow hem down over my jeans, and for wider hips, to pull it down over the widest part of my hips, and that, if it is rolling up, I might just need a bigger size. All of that to say that the fact that they took the time to address my problem has made me a permanent fan of the company. I'd change the star rating, as well, to a five if I could, since I might be wearing it wrong, and a bigger size would probably work better. I do have to say that it's the only product out there that has addressed this particular problem for pregnant moms (and for people with "plumber" issues). Rating: - Comfortable and UsefulThis is going to make going through pregnancy number 2 so much easier! The Bella Band is comfortable and not binding...really helps to extend the life of your pants...and provides some support for a growing belly. Rating: - Bella Band is a must have...I received my package in 2 days and I am very satisfied with my purchase. My Bella Band is great and will get lots of use. I could have bought a smaller size but even with the extra spaced my pre-pregnacy pants stay up, I just save myself so much money by buying the Bella Band. Rating: - Great idea, but you still a real pair of maternity jeans/pants.It was pretty useful up until 23 weeks(around 6 months) or so. I bought one and started using it when my belly got too big to zip up my jeans. I didn't want to spend the money to buy new maternity jeans because I already have WAY too many pairs of jeans! BUT -- now that I'm even bigger, I'm going to get a pair of maternity jeans anyway because the bella band + jeans combo is just getting uncomfortable and inconvenient. It's a hassle to get it on and off..especially when a pregnant woman needs to use the restroom so often! Also it doesn't exactly hold up my jeans well enough, so when I'm out I need to constantly adjust the band and my jeans to make sure my zipper isn't showing. If you think you can get away with maternity jeans with this purchase, forget it! It is nice to have in the early months of pregnancy, but trust me - you will want to buy a real pair of maternity jeans later. Rating: - You won't be disappointed! You really won't be disappointed if you purchase the Bella Band. I bought a cheaper version online and had to send it back because the material didn't have enough elasticity and wouldn't really hold up my pants. I have managed to get 2 extra months out of my pre pregnancy clothes before having to buy the dreaded maternity clothes. Buy at least one and try it but I'm pretty sure you'll end up buying more. I am always looking for mine and they always seem to be in the wash.
