She also loves it Rating:  - Pretty Good CDThe music is good with a mix of traditional church songs and a southern twang. Not too bad. I've heard better, but it is still a blessing. Rating: - Alan Jackson Precious MemoriesEXCELLENT!!! Plain, simple, genuine sounding hymns sung like the singer really means them from his heart. Wonderful both just to listen to and also to sing along with. (Excuse the preposition placement.) I listen to it over and over. Thanks Alan Jackson! Rating: - Great unique collectionWonderful recordings of traditional gospel songs. Many of these were sung in my country Methodist church. Unaffected, straightforward presentation that preserves the origins of the songs. My understanding is that Jackson recorded it for his mother, without plans to release it to the public. The collection was shared, traded and took on a life of it's own and was finally released as an afterthought. This could explain the wonderful lack of "producing" on the album. Great purchase. Rating: - If you love the good ole daysAlan Jackson did a great job with these old time church tunes. That is a trip down memory lane for sure. It is great!!!!
