 - joe bonamassa - live at rockpalastWhen i ordered "live at rockpalast",I thought it was a cd.Iwas looking for the song "asking Around For You".I knew it was a live album,and this was at the top of the list.Anyway i was surprised but happy when i got the dvd.If you like to listen to joe play a guitar,you're gonna love watching him. There is joe,his base player,and his drummer,and through the whole album,I kept looking for the rest of the band.After watching it 3 or 4 times,i found some of the solos and endings to gone on a bit.but are still great to watch. we've certainly enjoyed it,and if there is another one out there,or one coming,I'll be looking for it. john Rating: - absolutely awesome Don't miss the talent of Joe Bonamassa! This concert is the best! Just like being there for an outstanding performance from an outstanding performer!!! Absolutely my favorite in my concert library! Rating: - It should be a ten!Without a doubt the finest music dvd I have ever viewed.If you don't already know that joe is great, you should. This performance by the bass player is one of the best ever seen. Well recorded, great venue. Cannot say enough! Rating: - SMOKIN' JOE!!!Anyone who likes guitar oriented Blues will LOVE this DVD. Great licks, excellent guitar tone, and tasteful use of effects. The other guys (Bass and Drums)in the band, do an excellent job also. Make no mistake, this is a FULL sounding 3 piece band! Another plus is, this DVD is technically "Well Shot". Rating: - Great Performance!I enjoy hearing great live music,and really enjoy seeing it performed live. This video displays the true talents and joy of performing live at a small venue. My only criticism is that the camera setups always leave you wondering why the crowd scenes take precedent over closeups of the performer displaying his talents?
