Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Could be the album of the year
Weezy is killing it. i was sold on the carter of how talented wayne has become. i think after he got out from under juvi and bgs spotlight ppl were able to start noticing him. he has also grown as an mc i think this is due to his age when he entered the game. bc now he is rapping woth more depth and substance then wen he was younger. i would have to put him within the top 10 in the game right now.

Now speaking on the carter 2. this is a very intelagent creative album. there is very little guest apearances i think one from the birdman a song with kurupt and a few other minnor features. i was sad to c wen i first bought the cd that mannie didnt do any of the beats. then i listened to the cd. the production has no big names but doesnt need them it is a great produce cd even without mannie. there is realy only one club banger which is fireman, this is like the carter 2's go dj. there is maybe 1 or 2 songs that i am not all the way feeling but they are still tight. also like the first cd carter 1 they have a few tracks like the walkin were the same beat is used one 3 dif songs, its like one track has been cut into 3 and spaced out through the cd. the best track by far on the cd is a song called shooters. this song is one of the most creative songs i have heard in a long time. the hook is hott and weezy spits with so much fire and emotion. im not sure but it kind of sounds like it samples a beatles song but i could be wrong.

lil wayne definatly left everything he has on this cd and that is a whole lot. he has deffinatly earned his spot as one of the best in hip hp right now and i think is way beyond the money and ice rapper that he once was and is now one of the "best rapperes alive"

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Worst ever
I can not figure out for the life of me why so many people think this album is worth half a star... Apparently none of these reviewers have ever listened to weezy's mixtapes and "good" albums because this album completely sucks. I actually got this cd a few days before it was released and ended up trashing it by the time i skipped through to the last song. This cd does not contain one good beat, and the b.s. on the radio should stay there instead of in your collection. I thought i was a big fan of wayne, but after this album he has lost my respect as an artist. Get back to the "the fix" beats and raps dude! AND WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO ALL THE GOOD SONGS FROM THE LAST ALBUM!???

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The BEst Rapper Alive!!!!!!!!!!!
This album is hot. Every song is the bomb. Mainly Lil wayne lyrics sew it up. Birdmans beats are weak but When Weezy get them and rips them they turn out the best. Especially money on my mind ,Fireman, and Tha Mobb. He Even rapped to a beat where some lady kept saying oh no no.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best Rapper Alive!
MO FIRE! President Carter got his grown man on fa sho wit this album! The Carter set the stage, Carter 2 cemented Wayne's place as one of the best rappers, soon to be the best rapper alive. Every track is hot! He uses his vast vocabulary and hit's you with a number of metaphors throughout the album. In Mo Fire, he states "My dreads hang to let him know that I'm a lion/Represent the jungle and the other's that's tryin" which Wayne alludes to his dreadlocks in accordance with Rastafarian beliefs. In homage to Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia-known as the Lion of Judah. You may not have seen it during his Hot Boy days, but President Carter is definately serious wit his craft and here to ensure his place on the thrown! If you don't have this album yet, you missin out, you behind, get it quick! Also check out Robin Thicke, who is featured on Shooter, which he also produced.
