 - Disappointing....The REAL reason this album sucks is becuase she's singing in English. Not being able to make-up what the songs are about each time you listen & having to concentrate on the meaning just ruined the entire experience for me. Then again, I find lyrics to be the most unimportant thing in music & only listen to foreign music. Rating:  - ExcellentThis is Enya's best album since the 1980's Watermark, and a much better effort than A Day Without Rain. Every one of her songs in the album adds something unique and special to the overall musical experience. A listener can easily tell that Enya, Roma Ryan and Nicky Ryan spent a lot of time and energy writing the music and lyrics. It wasn't just produced overnight like some albums out today. Although it doesn't really have a breakout song like Only Time, every song is very strong on its own, and much stronger than of those on her last album. A great, great buy!! Rating: - Amarantine Great album. Very relaxing and beautiful music from Enya, as always. Love it! Rating: - Amazing collector's editionHere we have -again- an exquisite product, as all made about Enya, again luxuriously finished, again a detailed item. The red velver case with gold stamped logos and titles is just precious. And the contents, the 148 page book, deliciously written by Roma Ryan is the big surprise of this collector's edition, full of pictures and of course including the CD and the lyrics of each song, both english and in the "loxian" language created by Roma where available. For Enya and not Enya fans, just get this one if you want to know more about the creating process of the album Amarantine. Rating: - Not uplifting like the rest of her workAs usual, the composition of the pieces on this CD were done beautifully, but I was disappointed. I like everything I've heard by Enya thus far, but I hadn't listened to this CD before buying it. I found the music to be a real downer and depressing...the kind of music you put on if you need a good cry. I had hoped it would be uplifting like the rest of her CD's. Enya is very talented and everything she does is outstanding including this CD, it just wasn't the type of music I had wanted.
