 - The basketball video game champion!This is the most realistic basketball game i have ever seen! No other one even comes close! The graphics are awesome! The gameplay is smooth and has the feel of a real nba game! Player models look great(tell me that dosen't look just like Shaq O'neal)! But one of the coolest features to me is the create a player mode where you can create a player and use names already set in the game and here the annoucers actually call that name during a great play like a break away dunk! I have created a full squad of my buddies and we really go at it! I could play it 24/7! Sorry EA, nba live dosen't even hold a candle to 2k, and anyone that thinks it does just doesn't know about video games very well or is just plain nuts! I played nba live and there is no comparison to 2k! Can't wait for Nba 2k7! Rating:  - Great basketball game, but....This is a great basketball game, it has lots of features like season, tournament, association, street ball, and also playing online with your friends over. The amount of features are pretty abundant to create your own players and add to rosters (while you wait for NBA 2K7). The game play is fun with multiple camera angles and coaching tweaks you can modify to make your team a champ. Dispite all this, being one of the first games on the 360 it lacks in some areas. One of the biggest drawbacks were the shady graphics. The coaches and fans look like characters on your old Xbox, not much improvement on the 360. The player models in the transition scenes are also not very good. The players sort of look like the real players, but not very detailed and sharp. Again, this only happens when you've made a basket or a timeout and going to the bench. However, the players do look pretty good when on the actual court running up and down to make some baskets (in real time). Compared to NBA Live 06, in terms of graphics Live is superior. The graphics in Live is sharp, distince, clear, and looks more realistic compared to 2K6. Other than that, 2K6 is a pretty good game and fun to play. It receives only 4 stars overall because of the cheap cut-scene graphics. Hopefully NBA 2K7 retains many of the great features and at the same time upgrade the graphics to equivalent to Live 06 or better. Rating: - Now This Is A Basketball Game To Be Proud OfThis game is amazing, the detail in every single basketballer, the detail in the crowd, the commentary, the gameplay and the amount of features in this game all bring together a fantastically enjoyable game. The only main feature i use alot is The association where you run your own team and your primary goal is to get your team to the playoffs in one peace and earn a truckload of money in the process. Very fun game with an upto date roster so you wont be disapointed. The commentary is spot on when pointing out your every move or telling the fans about the players history. You also have the create a player and create a team option which didn't go un-noticed. Buy this game you are sure to love it. Rating:  - Wow! I can't believe that company's are allowed to get away with things like this.This is a good game, from what I can see of it. I haven't got to do much playing. It freezes shortly after tip-off. I have not completed one game without if freezing. The graphics are great, the sound is incredible, but mine just doesn't work. I exchanged it for a new one and it doesn't work either. I thought it might be my xbox 360, but it is fine. Nothing freezes on it but the 2K games. So if you can get a copy that works, have fun. Oh yea, don't bother calling 2K customer service about the issue. They were rather rude and they kept trying to send me to Microsoft. If it worked I would probably give this game a 4 or a 5. I can't possibly rate the product in whole anything above a one. Rating: - awesome gameThis game is great fun and addictive. Best basketball game I've ever played by far. Soundtrack is cool. Street mode is alot of fun. All they need is some minor improvement to the presentation, but overall the game is terrific and I would highly recommend it.
