 - Sweet and LovableI found this movie to be very sweet and lovable. The character almost has a Pollyanna quality as she makes you like her instantly. John Schneider (of Dukes of Hazzard fame) does a nice job of being a doting father. Having been to Williamsburg, I was glad to see it nicely portrayed. The movie touches on some of the issues of the American Revolution and how to keep friendships despite opposing political views. This is an excellent movie. We all liked it. I look forward to more in the series. Rating: - Great Family FilmThis movie is great for the entire family. It shows values that seem to be slipping some these days. It also shows historical content that is immediately pre revolution. Felicity's family is very loving and supportive of her and give her the values she needs to become a wonderful young woman. I call this a "feel good" film because there are several places that are inspirational. Rating: - Wonderful, heart-warming, positiveMy 9-year-old daughter and I love this movie. We think that it is beautiful, positive, and presents great values. We have seen all of the American Girl movies and have so enjoyed them. I am so glad to have movies like this to share with my daughter. Rating: - American Girl - Felicity DVDIf you are an American Girl fan, this DVD is a must. It is a great way to teach your daughter/granddaughter about American History. As a former 5th grade teacher, I would highly recommend it. Rating:  - Four star movie!Out of all the american girl movies, i'd have to say this ones my favorite. I really like the girl that plays Felicity. she is the perfect actor for her, because she acts just like Felicity does in the books. there were a few sad parts in the movie, but nothing extreme. I have to say, you did get bored a few times, and thats the only reason why i rate it four stars. hope i helped!!!!!
