- A lost treasure foundWhen I heard Perfect Peace I could have cried because I loved that song as a child, but I never knew who sang it originally. Marvin Sapp sings it just the way I remembered it as a child. Rating: - Authored By GodThank you for this opportunity to be a voice for what I believe is a CD that was authored by God. There is a lot of gospel music out there, that only exalts the artist, and the people involved in the production of the CD, but I believe that Marvin Sapp uses those that want to touch the heart of God. Thank you Marvin, for your awesome obedience and anointed talent. Rating: - Purchased as a giftI purchased this CD as a gift for my husband because he enjoys Marvin Sapp's music. Rating: - Former commissioned member Marvin Sapp releases `BE EXALTED' on VERITY recordsThis time round Marvin comes with a mixture of live, live sounding and studio tracks. The 13-track album is musician heaven. This album will defiantly please those who are into music and its intricacies. The album has a very nice start with "Be it unto Me" an up beat praise and worship song. This is one of the high moments of the album along with "Do You know Him" "Changed" "Holy" and many more. Marvin takes a different approach to this album a moves away from the contemporary feel that he normally basis his albums around. This time he seems to doing a more `church' but don't get me wrong he still keeps it innovative. The slow songs on the albums are very reminiscent of Fred Hammond. It is very clear to see that he was a part of the gospel super group Commissioned. Marvin also has some really nice feel good songs on this album such as "Smile." There are also some heart felt moments with songs like "He want fail" Overall it's a nice but it does seem to lose some steam towards the end. After such a strong starts it does fall off slightly at the end. Saving grace comes in the form of "Strong Tower" another live song with some really nice grooves. "Be exalted" is defiantly one Marvin's best musical albums to date and one of the top three albums he has done Rating: - ChangingTimesThis CD has a different feel than the usual Marvin Sapp CD due to the various producers on call. The album has good material but does not seem to find its seam in the fabric of musical tone. Nevertheless, there are some gems, such as 'Be Exalted, and Do you know Him.'
