Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - The sexiest cheekbones in the biz
It looks like after Natasha Bedingfield saw her brother Daniel do nicely on the charts with "Gotta Get Thru This" and "If You're Not the One", she wanted a piece of that action. I remember when I first heard "These Words", I thought it was one of the catchiest songs I'd heard in a while. And though the title track for this album Unwritten took a little while to catch on, IT'S doing fine as well. So I went to pick up the album and it turns out that this is another one of those at-least-the-artist-released-the-right-songs albums.

Now, I'm not denying Tasha's talent; she has a good voice, and I like the way she fuses pop with a little bit of soul (not unlike Maroon 5). And it's true that the aforementioned singles are indeed great, but I look at all these four and five-star reviews and I can't help but wonder if people listened to the rest of the album. In the words of track 5, the lyrical content really starts to stumble.

Questionable lyrics are evident in songs like "Single"; and while "I Bruise Easily" really isn't all that bad, you can't help but get that been-there-done-that feel. And as for "Size Matters", note to Tasha: people say "big up" in adlibs, not in actual song lyrics. She also has trouble fusing her style with rap ("Drop Me In the Middle"); and sorry, but "If You're Gonna" sounds like a song that Ashlee Simpson rejected. In addition, that song along with "Peace of Me" have badly produced choruses.

The aforementioned "Stumble" doesn't have the greatest lyrics either, but things get better when you hear her sing the words. "Wild Horses" also closes the album nicely, but everything else leaves much to be desired. I don't mean to be a hater, but maybe this album from Natasha Bedingfield would have been better if the rest WAS still unwritten.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This album just sucks
This is probably one of the worst albums I have ever heard. Other than Unwritten, the rest of the songs are a waste of time. The beats may be nice, but the lyrics are ridiculous. They're great for pop songs, but if you like music that actually has lyrics that don't sound like a 12 year old wrote them, then this is definitely not a cd for you.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of the best CDs I have heard in a long time
I think she has an incredible voice and the CD offers a mixture of pop & R&B. I have rarely found a CD that I have liked more than 2 songs, but this CD just rocks. After listening to a few songs played on the radio, I decided to take a chance on purchasing the CD and I'm quite pleased with my decision.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wicked Coolness known as Natasha!!
I was actually in the midst of folding four loads of laundry, when Natasha Bedingifelds album started playing on my pc, and I got so lost in it again, I had to drop what I was doing and give this girl some props. This is an amazing cd, with music so catchy, so cool and simply a pleasure to listen to that I'm a total fan for life.

I guess to compare her to other similar artists, which they probably don't like to have done to them, Id say she reminds me of Fiona Apple, Joss Stone , Alanis Morisette and of course her own core, but to be a good reviewer I like to draw comparisons at times.

"These Words" is one of the best songs I've heard, ever. It makes you want to get up and dance, and it comes in some great remixes that have their own CD available for sale here.

"Size Matters" is another song that will make you tap your foot under your desk at work, or make you skip a step in your walk, you might even sing along.

"Wild Horses" a sweet ballad but no cavities here, its sweet but it's secretly has a killer tunes that sound like it was created by a seasoned music aficionado.
Natasha has an earthy voice but she's slick, her music is not stuff, boring but is cool to the point that you are not embarrassed to listen to it in front of your friends. The choruses in her songs are great and have a real purpose. She's not the kind of girl who wants to be famous so she can do photo shoots and have makeovers. She has talent and she wants the world to be her outlet. She also writes her own songs, and she has so much to say!

I love it, and you will too! Branch out, listen to different artists, take a chance, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - AMAZING!
this cd is fantastic! I highly reccomend it to any one. Natasha's voice is incredibly unique, and I can't get enough of it.

"Unwritten" is definitely a highlight, with a beautiful video to boot.

"Wild Horses" is nothing short of brilliant!

"I Bruise Easily" is a soft song, and her vocals become so gentle and delicate.

don't hestitate to go and pick this cd up, its definitely worth it :)
