 - Scanner Compatible With Windows Vista 64-BitA good little scanner. USB power supply is nice. Works perfectly fine on 64-BIT Windows Vista Business. The scanner has a COPY function, so if you have a printer you'll also have an adequate copy machine, too. Stop looking at other scanners. This is the one you want if you don't want to spend a fortune. Rating: - Best Cost-Value RatioAs a college student I don't have alot of scratch to spare but this thing gives me great resolution and is user friendly. It also works with 3rd party software, I can be working in Photoshop and just import directly into the program. All in all a great product. Rating:  - good price, small and light, auto-crop feature rocks, but slowI was looking for a scanner to scan two huge boxes of old family photos. cant beat the price. its small but great for scanning prints. I like the no power-block to keep down on the clutter. and I must rave about the auto-crop feature... its exactly what I needed. if I scan, say, 4 old photos at once it detects the seperate images and auto-crops them into their own files. a huge time saver so now I dont have to do the cropping by hand in photoshop. BUT I returned the lide25 for the lide90 cuz it just wasnt fast enuff. its usb 1.1. a 600 dpi scan took 120 seconds which just isnt going to work for a huge box of photos. a 300 dpi scan is 60 seconds but still not faster enuff. I also couldnt find a way to select any dpi between 300 and 600 if I wanted to do auto-crop so 600 it is. I wish it would allow me to pick 400 dpi. great scanner if you dont care about the speed. Rating: - Easy to useI bought this scanner for my Mom, who loves to scan obituaries and send them to us kids....you all know what I mean. She's in her mid-70's and installed the software and set it up herself. She's been using it regularly, so if ease of use is important, this is the one for you. It's relatively small and very flat. Looks nice too. Rating: - good qualityCanon lide is really good, no matter which model. This one has basic functions, works well with good quality
