- Great all-around shoe for the gym & the roadI use these for gym workouts and as walking/jogging shoes. Being a big guy (6'4", 235 lbs.) I need a substantial shoe! The size -15 Wide- fit GREAT, true to size and they wear well too. I'm on my third pair of these excellent shoes. They haven't worn out, I just replace them every year and keep the old ones as spares. Highly recommended. Rating: - for long walks on city sidewalksThis is a great shoe for former runners, who are now walkers. I was walking with running shoes, and developed bad blisters and shoes did not have good lateral support for uneven surfaces and dealing with curbs. I went a half size bigger, extra wide, and the ease and comfort, even when walking 7 miles at a time is noticeable better. Also the treadware pattern does not pick up gravel and other edge of street bits and pieces like many running shoes have a tendency to do. Recommended for anyone over 40, and those who have switched from running to walking to avoid knee surgery. Rating: - It is a good choice for cross traningThis shoe looks amazing and very comfortable. The only thing I found is that the size is slightly misleading. My shoe size is 8 (UK size)and when I relate to the US shoe size I found that it was 8.5 US. When I tried to wear them I found it to be tighter than expected even though the size comapison chart reflect 8(UK). It was strange.. Since I did not have heart to abandon gave to my brother ;) Rating: - Running shoe for narrow feetIf you have a rough time buying shoes because you have a narrow foot, then the New Balance brand is for you. It is one of the few available which goes beyond just the Large / medium and narrow labels and actually will go to the letter width. Great shoe, long lasting and very competitive price. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that they stop at "b" and don't go to "AA"
