- The Best of Riverdance (2005)tres bon DVD ( The Best of Riverdance (2005))On peut l'écouter plusieurs fois tant que c'est divertissant Rating: - Best of RiverdanceA fantastic DVD that covers a dance medium almost unequaled in today's world. I had missed the few years since Michael Flatley was in his prime but this DVD brought the whole capability of these wonderful performers back to me instantly. You cannot go wrong with this one. Dan Rich, Missouri Rating: - Loved the entire thing I had seen the show in New York and this DVD allows me to relive it over and over again. Very, very enjoyable! Rating: - Don't compare this with the others. To try to compare this compilation of many different versions of Riverdance, with the original show is like trying to compare an apple and an orange. Yes they are both fruits, and you will get some Vitamin C from each, and they taste great, but they are different. This DVD is not the original show. That version isn't on DVD, so just deal with it. Reading the complaints from the people who didn't like that they saw many performers poping in and out during the course of a single dance, make me wonder if they live in the same world as I do. What did they expect? Why would they expect the same experience on this DVD as on the other DVD's? If you wanted a DVD that showed you the dances just as you saw them on the Riverdance DVD's you have seen before, buy those DVD's, not this one. If you want to learn about the growth of the show, and the changes it has gone through, and see many different dancers that you may not have seen before. Here you go. This is the DVD you want. If you are interested in what goes on backstage. Seeing how the show is put on. You found it. This is the DVD you want. If you want to listen to Jean Butler talk about the show, explain the various dances, or, like me, just sit and watch her and wish that she was still in the show. This is it. This is the DVD you want. If you want to see exactly what you have seen in the past, This ain't it. It's really not any more difficult than that. Rating: - Too much changing scenesIt became distracting to bounce from one concert to the next (during the same dance number)
