 - Loads of fun....er, I mean frustrationI originally bought this game just to have a poker game to play online with the XBox. I didn't have any high expectations, and 2KSports certainly didn't disappoint. The graphics are uninspired, the commentary is repetitive and cheesy, and the game play is only so-so. There is no AI.....the computer seems to just play according to a set of rules based on certain conditions. It doesn't study your play and adapt to it, so even the gameplay gets a little boring. But once you play on XBox Live, that's when the headaches really begin. First of all, there are no tournaments or leagues to play in. Just sit down at a table and play. There's nothing to really shoot for, no goals to set, except for fattening your bankroll, and you get nothing for doing that. There are also several glitches in the online play....you cannot be assured that your winnings at any given table will be banked. The next time you play, you've got a better than average chance of your previous winnings being gone. There are also some serious connectivity issues. There's nothing like having pocket rockets, going all-in pre-flop and then the game locks up and boots everyone. And it's not just an isolated incident....it happens very frequently. Check out the forums at 2KSports' website....you'll see that there a quite a few people there that have been having these and other problems. Rating:  - Really great poker gameI bought this game about a week ago and can't put it down. It has a lot of depth to it. The poker play in single player is really challenging. You can also identify the types of players you are up against. You can look through their history and see how they bet. Online it has players entire history, amazing. I use it and take full advantage. So many tight players out there. Little advice for you all out there, if you check and call 70% of the time, that is way too much. It keeps your own stats too and I must admit my stats looked a bit tight too. The online is a ball because you can create really cool our really funky characters. There is also a way to create your own games which is a time consuming entertaining task in itself. Online has a thing where you can make funny faces with your character too which just makes for that much more fun. I thought this game was going to just be poker but it really has a lot to it. Rating: - Best Poker Game on the market!This is by far the best Poker game on the market. The AI is excellent (play on PRO for a very very challenging game) The graphics are great, and the customization is amazing. Online is a lot of fun too. All in all, a great Poker game. Rating: - Save your money and play poker for realI was looking forward to this game but was I ever dissapointed. I thought these poker games could only get better, was I wrong. The graphics are horrible and the gameplay is extremly slow and there is no way to speed it up. Save your money and use it to play poker for real, you will have much more fun.
