Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - OK game:not amazing
I recently rented this game and at first i was pretty impressed. The graphics were great and I quickly became comfortable with the controls and the theme of ultimate destruction. But after the initial shock wore off, I regognized some problems. The story really has no plot(all you do is blow up the enemy cars-nothing else), and the replayability is not good. After having the game for 2 days, I began to get bored. Overall, this game has good points and bad points, so I recommend a rental.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - NO GOOD
This game was WAY TOO SHORT I beat it in a matter of minutes (half hour)
Once you beat the game, there's nothing to do,: either go through the same stupid levels with another character, or you can play online against friends

But if you're like me and you don't have a wireless connection or friends who can even afford PSP, this game is no good

Also, the gameplay STINKS

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best PSP title yet! Best TM game yet!
If you are a fan of the Twisted Metal series, you will love Head-On. It is basically TM: Black, but less violent and dark. There are plenty of levels, from L.A. to Greece, and the environments are totally destructible. The controls are great, with a classic TM feel, though I'm still not sold on the analog "nub" idea. There are so many vehicles and characters, each with their own twisted ending, that give the game a lot of replay value, it's amazing. The graphics are top-notch, PS2 quality. Basically, if you're a fan of the series, buy this game. If you bought a PSP and want, in my opinion, the best launch title, buy this game. If you didn't like previous installments, Head-On won't change your mind.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This Game is Great!
After i read the reviews of Twisted Metal i was sure that i was gonna buy it, and its a good thing i did. This game has great graphics, especially when the ground is shacking. It feels like you're actually in the game! There are a total of 11 levels, but dont let that get you down! The levels are pretty complicated, and if the computer characters are easy you can always make the difficulty harder, even though the difficulty starts on medium. The bosses are especially hard. You can either play the story mode, which has 11 levels or you could do the challenge mode which is basically playing for fun, but dont die. The endurence mode lets you battle computer characters over and over again until you die. This is just Single PLayer Mode. Theres also multiplayer.

In multiplayer mode you can play against up to 6 people. You can even do the story mode with more than one player. You can play mini games and unlock new characters.

If you like shooting car games then this is the game for you!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A game u should get for PSP
Twisted metal head on is a really good game for the PSP. If you have a PSP and dont have this game I would buy it right now. It was the first game I got for it and it was great. The gameplay is awesome. Its so smooth on the psp and the graphics are amazing for a portable. If you have never played twisted metal, it is a car demolition game but with rockets and machine guns and stuff. There are about 14 vehicles to be and also some secret characters. Each character has a different special move for the vehicle and also a different story of there life. The basic thing for the game is to get through 8 levels of demolitions of versing other characters in the game and when you win the final battle you get to see the story end to the characters. They wish for something from calypso because the thing is if you win you get one wish of anything. There are plenty of different rockets to get in the game. The music for the game is really good to. It goes really well with the gameplay and it never gets boring. There are a lot of characters so you wont beat the game in one day. The levels in the game are really good also, there is paris, egypt, tokyo, rooftops, las angelos and much more. There are even secret deathmatches for multiplayer. The game is also good for online and wireless multiplayer. You can verse anybody in the united states and there are different games you can pick like team, deathmatch, capture the flag and more. The gameplay is pretty smooth online and each player has there own stats. There are a lot of players online at the same time too so there will always be people to verse, you can also create your own game online so its fun for you. There is also a new thing where if u kill somebody u get an upgrade like machine gun upgrade, armor upgrade, turbo upgrade, special weapom upgrade and more and it stays with you till you die. The only problem I had with the game is that it can get a little bit to easy and the stories at the end can get pretty stupid like they say something wrong for the wish or say something with two meanings or somebody will just do something stupid like be really happy and run across the street and get hit by a car or something. Still for some reason you will still have the craving to see the endings even though you know its gunna be stupid. Out of 10 I would rate this game as an 8. Very good game so get it for PSP.
