- Al-Kitaab AudioIf you are using Al-Kitaab and not also in an Arabic class, I'd say the audio on the go CD is a must. It's the dialogues and exercises from the DVD that comes with the book, but you can take it wherever you go on your MP3 player. Very helpful. Rating: - Only in Arabic, no English translationsSince the book, Al-Kitaab, comes with DVDs that do not play on a CD player, I was hoping to find some audio to help me study my Arabic vocabulary during my long commutes. I bought this CD because I thought it would say the words in English & then in Arabic, or vice versa. But it doesn't. After listening to the first couple of chapters, it appears to be all in Arabic. That's fine if you are reading the book while listening to a CD or MP3 player, but I can't do that while driving. Some words I could recognize, but some I don't. So it doesn't really help. I am so disappointed and cannot return the CD because it's been opened. Rating: - A must-have companion for Al-KitaabA must-have companion to Al-Kitaab. Play it in your car, put on your headset and play it while on the bus, train, or waiting in the doctor's office. It helps to let it play while sleeping or on your boom-box while taking your shower or bath! Reinforcement is key for learning the correct grammar, and don't forget, plurals, plurals, plurals! Correct pronunciation, and trying to acquire the accent is so helpful with this take-along CD. I highly recommend it.
