Featuring rich vocals, honed melodies, and defined instrumentation, "BTA" offers much to not only the band's core fan base (the HazelNuts), but also to those yet to be converted. Album Description: Sister Hazel plugs into 2008 with the Live Acoustic album Before The Amplifiers with 16 tracks. Sister Hazel is a musical group from Gainesville, Florida, whose style blends elements of alternative rock, folk, and southern rock. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Fabulous CD!I absolutely love this CD. The acoustic versions of the songs are amazing and it is a great mix of older and newer songs. You won't be disappointed with this CD. Rating: - Still a killer bandSister Hazel has always been one of my personal favorites and they don't disappoint with this acoustic album....the guys are amazing live, their harmonies are flawless and instrumentation is sick.....still one of the best bands out there, plugged in or acoustic, doesn't matter, they rock.... Rating: - FantasticThis CD is one of the best so far from a band that is one of the best live acts I've ever seen (and I've seen most of the best). Ryan Newell....best guitarist you never heard of. If you do nothing else, buy and download Strange Cup of Tea...Ryan's solo is worth the full album price. Man-crush...most definitely. Rating: - Sister Hazel - Before the AmplifiersSister Hazel is a great band and has put out many great albums. This acoustic live set brings a different sound to some of their classics songs. The cd brings you to the intimate environment in which they were recorded. Great compilation of songs. It is great to have Hold On and Starfish on a Live album. Rating: - ExcellentThis is an excellent show of Sister Hazel's talent. The tracks are a great mix of the best Sister Hazel songs through the years. The recording offers insight on who the members of Sister Hazel are and where their inspiration comes from, without taking away from the music. A great buy. Could easily serve as a greatest hits album. |
