 Rating: - Lego ChessThe CD was brand new- in packaging. I can't get it to load on my computer but I believe that is MY computer problem and not the game.... however, can't evaluate the game b/c can't play it. Rating:  - Get the patch!Please get the patch and you will not have problems with this great game. It really captures a child's inmagination. Rating: - Great game of chess for children but difficult to make it workWhen you receive the DVD it does not work. You have to go to an indicated web site and download two patches that fix some issues that the software has. I wasted a couple of hours before I figured out what to do. Still, once you get it to work, it is a great game of chess for children. My six year old son - and his chess teacher - love Lego Chess. Rating:  - Chess for Children that is FunMy son (10) loves this program. Every now and then it freezes up - but most of the time it works just fine. It is educational, clean and seems to be more interesting to him than regular because it is "Legos" and has interactive graphics and sound effects! And, for the current list price on Amazon ($8.60) you can't go wrong! I'd say "go for it" if your child is evenly remotely interested in chess, plays with Legos and can click a mouse!
