Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Worked in non-wireless laptop
I installed this in a 2001 Gateway Solo 5300 (along with antennas from Ebay)and it works great! I just downloaded the drivers from TP Link website and it found the wireless signal. This laptop never had factory wireless. Very pleased.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wireless bliss
I bought this to upgrade a used Dell Latitute 640 that was originally purchsed without built in wireless. This card installed easily into the latop's mini-PCI slot and works great. I downloaded drivers from TP-Link's website - although I found that it worked best using Windows XP's built in wireless utility, instead of using the utility offered by TP-Link.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I, as well, had a crappy gateway network card.
This is a vast improvement from my inconsistent gateway card. I can actually connect from anywhere in my home.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great little card!
I had been having trouble with range and consistent signal with my factory-installed wireless card on my Gateway laptop. Popped this thing in in about 5 minutes, and haven't had a bit of trouble since. Great reception all over the house, and even got on the internet on a neighbor's network which I had been able to see but never connect to before. If only the rest of life were this easy!
