Time Capsule is a revolutionary backup device that works wirelessly with Time Machine in Mac OS X Leopard. It automatically backs up everything, so you no longer have to worry about losing your digital life. Time Capsule is also a full-featured 802.11n Wi-Fi base station. ![]() Rating: - Works well with Time Machine - should be easy to partitionI tried to set Time Capsule up quickly in my niece's dorm, but ran out of time. She called 1-800-my-apple and got the wireless router going, but not the printer. Rating: - Easy Installation, Fast and ReliableThe Installation of the time capsule was just very easy steps without any trouble, and once it was up and running the network is Very fast and realiable and the time machine backup runs flawlessly. Rating: - Not Ready for Prime TimeThe concept is great and, given Apple's history, I'm sure that eventually this product will perform as promised but right now it does not live up to expectations. The wireless network works great. The printer server works well, but not perfectly. The real problem is the backup hard drive combined with Time Machine which is a disaster. If you buy this product you should expect to have your computer taken over frequently by buggy software (it will freeze). You should expect to have to use the hard shut ... Read More |
