 Rating: - Huge ImprovementHighly suggested that if you are outdoors you use the furry windsock. Even the slightest breeze effects this more than the builtin mic. But the windsock is extremely effective. You may hear slight wind noise during a wind gust, but otherwise the audio probably would have been unusable. Rating:  - External Mike Works Well...My onboard mike on my new HD videocam easily makes a buffeting sound with the smallest amount of wind present. This option totally solves the problem 100% (with the wind guard on, of course). Rating:  - DISAPPOINTED IN FREQUENCY RESPONSEI have just received this mic and read the specs (not available online). I am disappointed to learn that its frequency response is only 100-10,000! Bummer! I plan to return it to get a refund. Because of its limited performance, I would not recommend this mic to anyone who is serious about sound quality for their videos.
