Horrible framerate, terrible graphics, boring gameplay, bad commentary - AVOID! 2K should lose their license to make MLB games after this mess. If you are a PS3 owner you have the option of getting possibly the best baseball game ever made, MLB 08 The Show. There is NO reason to buy 2K8 instead of The Show. Rating: - Get MLB The Show 08 Instead!On the PS3 you can download demos of Sony's MLB The Show 2008 and this title. I (as I'm sure many others) have played both demos. I do like the pitching and batting controls of 2K8, and the play by play of ESPN's Morgan and Miller (best in the game) on 2K8 as well - but it does not come close to making up for the huge quality difference - The Show is much, much, better and simply kicks 2K's rear end. This game has terrible graphics, the controls aren't very good either. The pitching interface didn't even make sense. I don't know, after playing The Show this game proves how far behind it really is. 2K8 has some nice games, but the baseball is just bad and full of glitches along with fumbling controls. Read More Rating:  - Disappointing...The graphics on a standard large-screen TV are not good. I have played PS3 titles on standard TV and the graphics are usually decent. This looks like a PS2 title. The hitting is semi-ridiculous. Both the CPU and human player make about a dozen circus catches a game. It is not uncommon to play multiple 2-1 games in a row, slightly ridiculous.
