Rating: - Whisper-quiet CPU cooler
Pulse width modulation (PWM) is a powerful technique for controlling cooling fan speeds, and thus noise levels. This CPU cooler has a quiet 92-mm fan, and its speed can be adjusted in a very wide range, 800 to 2200 rpm, through PWM. If combined with an energy-efficient dual-core CPU from AMD - Athlon X2 BE-2300, or BE-2350 - and ASUS motherboard with ASUS Q-Fan2 technology (mine is M2NPV-VM), it will result in a very quiet personal computer.
