I bought a pair of these several years ago when looking for a slip-on shoe for work and hiking. I have a very bad right ankle thanks to football and skiing accidents (back in the day of cable bindings, so now you know I'm over 50!), and eventually determined that I am better off wearing a low-top shoe that slides around the foot rather than a tightly laced high-top boot or shoe.
