Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - IPAQ 111 ROCKS
HP iPAQ 111 Classic Handheld (FA979AA#ABA)

This is my first pocket PC. I bought this at Amazon, quick delivery and amazingly easy to setup. It has everything I need to get going, my Outlook files are perfectly synchronized and i can use just like my desktop. I added a 16Gb SDHC card and edited the registry to direct my mail to be stored on it, FANTASTIC, now I have a copy of ALL my mails in its original folder structures. I also have a backup of all my frequently accessed files from ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - compatibility issues with Mobile Windows 5.0
Hey,

you've read the reviews. small form factor, sexy, sleek. I like it alot for all the features. However, the program I am trying to run will not work on Windows Mobile 6.0. So I am gonna sell this baby off and get something else with Windows Mobile 5.0.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Known as the 112 in Ausralia
I have owned one of these for the past 6 months.
Despite initial problems with startup, after the retail shop replace it for a new one, it hasnt missed a beat.
I read all of my books on it and have over 600 ebooks on my 2GB card.
Battery life is about 16 hours continuous use.
Wifi is great but it is hard to use the internet due to the screen proportions.
Overall a great product which replaces the non existant Kindle (not available in Australia).

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Product
The product works great. I'm transitioning from Palm to Pocket PC so I do have some grips about the Windows Mobile OS but the device itself works good and does more then my Palm.

The hardware is small and fits good in my pocket but I wish the alarm was louder and had a vibrating alert. The screen is vibrant and is good for viewing pictures. I've only viewed short video clips and they look good but I'm not sure how it will hold up with the dark and bright screens from movies..

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - JUNK - 1 STAR
I was given this on Saturday for my birthday. On Monday, I went for a motorcycle ride w/my hubby. He put my purse in his trunk. The IPAQ was in a case inside my purse. When we got home, I wanted to update my calendar for the Tasks we had accomplished while out and about. Silly thing wouldn't turn on. Worked perfectly that morning. Paperweight by midafternoon. Hubby called HP tech support. Even a hard reset did nothing. Are these things really that fragile? A couple bumps on the roadway sends it crashing ... Read More
