First impression, out of the box, is that it is a nice unit with a smaller footprint than the pro series. First surprise upon installation is that it only comes with a D-Sub connecting cable, no digital cable. Also, the digital connection would require an adapter. I'm not sure what the engineers at ViewSonic were attempting to accomplish (lower construction cost to meet lower retail price?), but if you are ... Very small amount of light bleeding on top and bottom of screen can be seen on black screens, but hardly noticeable and not an issue for me.
