Whitesnake is back with "Good To Be Bad", their 10th studio album and first in over a decade. This brand new album features a slew of instant-classic Whitesnake songs that are destined to stand side by side with such favorites as "Here I Go Again", "Still Of The Night" and "Fool For Your Love." Led by world-renown vocalist extraordinaire David Coverdale, "Good To Be Bad" is truly classic Whitensake, displaying that rare combination of high class and kick ass that has made them what they are today... the absolute best! Album Description: The brand-new Whitesnake album "Good To Be Bad", a masterpiece consisting of eleven songs & featuring all the important trademarks of the band, as well as a fresh breeze courtesy of Coverdale's fantastic voice & current line-up. Good To Be Bad is pure & unadulterated Whitesnake, a classy recording that really doesn't require a more detailed description. The new album sounds so unmistakably, typically Whitesnake says David Coverdale: "For me, the heart & soul of Whitesnake remains the same." Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Best album I've heard in 2008.I had a few bucks burning a hole in my pocket, so I picked this CD/DVD set up for $11.88. I was absolutely AMAZED at how good this CD was. I expected the worst, and based on how little I liked Def Leppard's latest album, I just didn't have high hopes for this one. But I was dead-wrong. The album is the perfect blend of "pre-1986" Whitesnake, when they were putting out more heavy-metal oriented stuff, and "post-1986" Whitesnake where they were making more radio-friendly hair-metal. The big melodic ... Read More Rating: - GREAT rocking album....a 'tribute' album of new materialWhen I heard a new album from Whitesnake was coming, I could have cared less. I loved the 1987 album, but how could David Coverdale, 20 years later, put out a quality product of new material under the WS moniker? I had low expectations, but this album blows the doors off!! The musicianship is great, David's voice sounds fantastic after all of these years, and the production is reminiscent of the 1987 album. The tunes, while all new, have elements of WS music through the years. Some of ... Read More Rating: - Yes, It is good to be bad!Really good new stuff from stalwart rockers Coverdale & Co. Tight with good riffs, excellent production, and musicianship. Probabbly the loudest studio album I've ever heard- don't need to turn up the speakers.. hits a ton right out of the box. Hope they tour The States. Rating: - Whitesnake is back with a vengeanceWhitesanke has never been my favorite band, but I was quite fond of "Slide It In", the self titled "Whitesanke" and "Slip of the Tongue" CDs. I hadn't followed their career since the early 90s, but I heard some real positive feedback for this CD so I listened to some sound bytes and liked what I heard. After purchasing this CD and listening to it a couple times I was blown away by how good it is. This album absolutely rocks, there are a couple of slow tunes, but for the most part the music is absolutely ... Read More Rating: - Another great product from WhitesnakesWhat else can I say? As a great fan of whitesnakes, I 100% support the opinion that this is the greatest album that Whitesnakes had produced after 1987 and Slip of the Tongue. Great songs and great musicians as well. For whitesnakes' fans out there I highly recommend you to buy this album as one of your collection. I bet that you won't be regret. For new whitesnakes' fans, listen to this album several times and I'm sure you will find out what sort of rock music that Whitesnakes want to introduce to you. ... Read More |
