It was a bit pricey - however, it was impossible to find a notebook sleeve for a 17 inch laptop anywhere else, and I know that Belkin is a quality brand. This protects my new laptop and I have no worries about scratches, etc. My only gripe is the price, but considering how much the laptop cost, $30 is a small price to pay to protect an investment! I'd order Belkin products again and have recommended their notebook sleeves to friends and co-workers. Rating: - Exactly what I was looking for.Very nice sleeve. The neoprene offers sufficient protection for your notebook. Although it does have a kind of funny smell. I wouldn't recommend getting the 15" for your 17" like someone else did. I don't know maybe it depends on the brand but I have a Toshiba, and the 17" fit my notebook just fine with a tad bit of room to spare. The only thing I can say is don't get this if you use a notebook bag, unless it's really big, because my notebook doesn't fit in my bag with the sleeve on. Other then ... Read More Rating:  - Belkin Neoprene Notebook Sleeve 17"This sleeve is very nice, as to be expected from Belkin. THe neoprene on the outside is thick. It can take a lot of abuse. The interior is soft fabric that won't scratch your laptop. There is also a ridge along the zipper line, to protect your laptop from the zipper itself. Only thing I wish is that they had different colors, but as far as protecting my laptop, which is what it is supposed to do, it does a great job. Read More Rating: - stylish and neata good product i would recommend. like some people mentioned, it does have a strong plastic smell at first, but it goes away. full size 17" notebook (hp dv7t) fits nicely in there, with some room to spare for a paper notebook and some blank cd-r media. (an inner pocket would be perfect for this, and i plan on sewing one in when i get a chance) it would also be nice to have something to be able to tell which side is the top quickly. the zipper is assymetrical, so this helps, but not readily ...
