I had a Trinitron for life until recently due to the digital tv signal thing, I thought I give these lcds a try. Decided on this unit based on the great reviews on forums and experts. Why I bought: I love the design of this unit, very sleek...nice. I like the features and specs. I like the price not too much (Sony) and not too cheap (Vizio). Sharp sent the local warranty service place out two different times to replace boards before they finally decided that the TV couldn't be repaired.
