The biggest change is that Zac Efron (Troy) didn't participate and was replaced by Drew Seeley. The former, as fans of the movie know, gets repeated in a super-poppy version sung by Lucas Grabeel (Ryan) and Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay), the kind of energetic performers who so often steal the spotlight from the nominal stars.  Rating:  - .This is a rehash of the soundtrack, but is good for notice to finally be taken that Zac Efron did NOT sing in HSM. In a Disney interview he said that for that reason he was not part of the tour. He does sing in HSM2 (fairly well at that). Rating:  - all in this togetherThis is a good buy even if you didnt see the concert. Good for all ages and you actually get to hear everyone's singing voice. If you have seen the movie or saw the concert this is a good item to add to your collection of High School Musical Products. Rating: - HSM Rocks!!!My kids loved this DVD. They can't wait for HSM 2 on Disney. They also would like to see the concert live. Great show! Rating:  - Good but...It is good but it is missing stuff. Not all of the solo's from Ashley, Corbin and Vanessa is in it. The makers are talking about 6 stars when they are really leaving the 7th star in the shadows. That star is Jordan Pruitt. She is not in it when the opener should be. She opens the show so she should be in the CD. Rating: - Lets Put on a ShowThose fans of High School Musical-If you remember the old Mickey Rooney & Judy Garland (KIDS LETS PUT ON A SHOW) movies, it is similar in vein..has taken the High School Musiacalmovie one step farther than the film did, The Concert.
