More Colours! The Million Colour Revolution Revisited

The Pinker Tones defy categorization. This is an awesome collection of tracks from a group that continues to surprise. The mix of electronic, melodic, dance, trance, rock, and too many other genres to count produces something that can't be described and must be heard.

This group blends street beats with euro styling and easily moves between English, Spanish, French, German and who knows what other languages.

I became a fan of The Pinker Tones' prior album "The Million Colour Revolution" after hearing it on KCRW in Los Angeles about a year ago. I generally am not a fan of remix albums, but this is one of those rare cases where the remix album is as good as the studio album. Killer cuts and remixes here from acts like Kinky, Nortec Collective, Torpedo Boys (who rap in Japanese!), The Submarines, Mexican Institute of Sound and The Pinker Tones themselves.
