 Rating:  - Really small and easy to pack, but not very absorbantIt felt like this towel did more pushing around of water than actually absorbing it. It felt like I was wrapping a piece of suede around me. Given the option, however, I don't know if I had room in my backpack (I used it backpacking for a month) for a real towel. It's a toss-up on this one. Rating:  - Great travel assetI wasn't sure whether I really needed this for my trip, but decided to be safe rather than sorry (even in defiance of all the packing light advice I had absorbed). It turned out to be a good decision. The towel packs compactly, but is quite expansive when unfolded. It is very absorbent but dries quickly and was really necessary to me in several of the places that I stayed. |
