The extra cost may be justified for newer cameras with high write speed capabilities and 12+ megapixels, and a UDMA card like the Lexar 300X downloads to your computer perceptibly faster. This CF card definitely delivers on the promise of higher speed, so if that's what you want it's worth the price. Rating: - Always Go For the Gold!Fastest writing time I could find. If it's taking any time to write, I haven't noticed. I haven't put it to the full test yet - 8fps - but am confident it will keep pace. It produces spectacular color clarity on mid-quality, small-sized .jpeg setting. I was annoyed to need to buy a new card format when I upgraded Nikons, but got over it immediately.
