It was like they set out to make it a specific length and hacked away until they could just give you a plot synopsis. I gave the book ****. My first Scarpetta novel was "TRACE" so I wanted to go back and read and earlier one. A fan recommended this one. But I still found the characters not particularly likeable. I can't stand Lucy.
