![]() Rating: - cheap and goodI own several light stands as I use them to hold up my touring puppet stages. This one seems as good as several of the $80-100 stands I've purchased. I'm curious to see how it holds up to touring. It has a strange spring mech. that causes the ends to pop out a few inches. I'm not sure what the purpose of this is and it doesn't realy bother me, I just haven't seen it before. Rating: - Great affordable light standGreat price on a stand that does just what it should. If you're not using anything too heavy, this is just the ticket. Stable enough for a strobe and umbrella, large soft boxes not so much... Rating: - Lite StandDoes what it is supposed to do. These are pretty light, which I like from a portability standpoint, but from the durability side we'll just have to see. Still, they're very inexpensive. And they're a little plasticky. But what the heck: I don't use them to drive nails, do I? And besides, they're really inexpensive... I suspect two of these are the price of two comparably-sized Manfrotto stands (they are, after all, relatively inexpensive), ... Read More |
