Rating:  - Planned obsolence.I had a kitchenaid mixer and was very happy with it, but then I lost one of the beaters, so my mother gifted me with this black and decker mixer. I was first disappointed with it because there is no true slow speed -- the lowest speed is so fast it'll beat the heck out of whipping cream or egg whites, but fails miserably for blending dry and wet ingredients, because it's so fast everything flies out of the bowl. I use it mostly for mashed potatoes and the potatoes are all over the counter. I am looking to replace it with something that works better for me. |
