![]() Rating: - Very good, but VERY heavy! It's big enough to fit all my stuff. I am not a pro and I have been into photography for only about a year or so. I own 2 Nikon DSLRs (D90 & D40) and 6 small to medium size Nikon lenses (70-300mm VR, 16-85mm VR, 50mm 1.8D, 18-55mm, 10.5 2.8 fisheye and 55-200mm VR) and all fit in there in addition to a SB-600 flash unit and a 15.4" Sony VAIO notebook (which was an additional reason to buy this bag)... With all this gear, trust me, you don't want to try to lift it, it's INCREDIBLY HEAVY!!! Read More Rating: - not flexible, only for a certain purposei received it maybe 1.5 month ago, well, it weighs about 3 - 4kg so it is not light at all, and assuming u wanna fill it up (why would you buy it if you dont wanna fill it all) it will reach 10kg before you notice i filled it with a 15.4" laptop + a nikon D200, 18-200mm, 24mm tilt/shift, 50mm, 28-105mm, SB-600, cables + chargers + a tripod attached... it reached about 15-16kg so imagine all of that on your back!!! i believe this bag should be your ... This bag will hold pretty much whatever you want it to hold gear wise, and the ability to slip my huge 17" laptop in with my gear to download pictures off my camera on long trips is awesome. Some draw-backs: *obviously, the size/weight. this bag is huge, and a long day with the 5D, 100-400, and a few other lenses lugged around on your back can start to tire you out... *the flaps to go around ... Read More Rating: - Lowepro Vertex 300 AWI bought this backpack since I was sure that a Nikon 200-400mm VR F4 mounted on a camera would fit in this bag with other equipment. When I originally wrote a review I was still waiting for the 200-400mm lens. I now have the 200-400mm VR lens. It is huge, but fits perfectly in the Vertex 300 AW. I also have carried a Nikon 17-55mm F2.8 lens, Kenko 1.4 teleconverter, Nikon 12-24mm F4 and many accessories. The Nikon 200-400mm lens comes with a pretty extravagant case that holds only the lens. I really ... One comment though that I hope makes it to the LowePro people is to begin to pay more attention to the needs of the mobile video community. More on this later. I was carrying a Panasonic HVX200, high definition, a hand-held form factor video camera, three Focus Enhancements DTE FS ... Read More |
