 Rating:  - Bullitt [Blu-Ray]Its no secret that the plot of this movie is sketchy. The satisfaction of Bullitt comes partly from the realistic and gritty treatment of the hospital scenes, and partly the general no nonsense atmosphere throughout. And the blu ray transfer is very impressive. The car chase speaks for itself. Overall, a nice statement for its time, but mainly for the atmosphere and vibe. Rating:  - Bullitt DVDI've watched this film at least 50 times over the years. Steve McQeen, Robert Vaughn and the rest of the cast are stellar. The direction and driving stunts were brilliant . I have spoken to Amazon.Com and they assured me they will take the item off the Internet and refund my money. I was told to watch for the Movie again and when I see it, to go ahead and order it. Story line a bit thin with predictable antagonists. Seem to remember a very weak and unsatisfying ending. The car chase may have been hot in its day, but it seems really ordinary by today's standards. You have to love Steve McQueen though. He even looks good in dorky pajamas. |
