 Rating:  - delightfully easy and convenientI have yet to use it in high volume but it ws easy to setup and use. The small size is great because I use it in the field. Rating: - Getting rid of paper clutterI clip articles and recipes out of magazines and they hve piled up over the years. Since I am normally an organized person, I needed a way to save these but throw them out,too. This Pentax scanner has been the perfect answer. It is light weight and takes up little space, but really gets the job done. The program that comes with it allows you to set up separate files and then drag the scanned item over to the corresponding file in which to save it. Voila! End of mess! Note: If you don't like ... Scanner would not feed the paper into it at all. Called Amazon.com and they sent a replacement right away. Have not hooked up replacement yet. I would not recommend buying this simply because you can get NO support from Pentax. Amazon. com has has been good, but Pentax support stinks. Rating:  - Does not work with Linux.The product description indicates that this scanner works with Linux. It doesn't at all and I can't find evidence that anyone is working on making it work. Don't buy it if you run Linux (any Linux). It even had some problems working in Windows XP. |
