When it was briefly shown in theaters with Men in Black II, the delightful animated cartoon The Chubb Chubbs had the awkward distinction of being funnier and more inventive than MIIB. The six-minute film won the 2003 Oscar for best animated short. --Jeff Shannon

- HilariousI loved this movie for several reasons: it is funny, it is so apt in the depictions of the hunted and the hunted, and it treats a serious subject with humor. The animal characteristics are reminescent of Walt Disney and his magical touch with portrayals of animals. I recommend this movie for anyone who wants to laugh.

- Great entertainment for my young son...These UMD things are great. My son is 2+ years and he loves it when I show him a new movie he can watch on the PSP. We just went on vacation with many hours on plane after plane. Open Season was watched many times without bothering anyone. I recommend it. We have a few of these movies for PSP including Incredibles, and Toy Story. They are great and handy.

- Funny! Funny! Funny!What a great movie to watch!! My kids love this DVD, and my husband and I find ourselves wanting to watch it with them as well. I'm not against hunting...which this movie pushes the whole "SAVE THE ANIMALS--HUNTING IS HORRENDOUS" idea...but I think most movies are pushing an agenda...it's just about knowing who I am (and my family) and what I believe in, and just enjoy the movie for what it is...a movie.
