Editorial Review:

Product Description:
These helmet speakers are thin, provide high volume, and are uniquely designed for helmets. They plug into any radio, MP3, or CD player that has a standard 1/8" output jack. They are very comfortable inside your helmet. Just press them into your helmet's ear pockets or secure them to the helmet lining with the attached Velcro or adhesive Velcro pads. Use these speakers with any helmet that covers your ears.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Bad Choice- Even on a Scooter
I tried these with my MP3 player all the way up with a Boostaroo headphone amplifier and the volume on the speakers all the way up inside a closed full face HJC helmet- still couldn't hear much of anything. I was sitting still on my 500cc Aprilia Scooter- probably the quietest "motorcycle" out there. I'm far from deaf and my $10 Sony over the ear sporty buds are pristine under the same conditions- save your time and money and head to Walmart. I'm mailing them back tomorrow. (the Boostaroo does help ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not Loud Enough
I agree with many of the other reviewers. Definitly NOT loud enough, I tried them with my Ipod and my Garmin - neither was loud enough. I had to go with in ear phones.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Not worth the money.
What a waste of money, you can't hear the music over the road noise. Get a speaker with a booster if you want to listen to your music on the road.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - The music is like a background sound only.
It is ver good built, easy to install, great looks.
But it's not loud. It is good because you hear the exterior, and you hear the music as a backgroud (great for security reasons).

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great first helmet speakers!
Have over 12,000 motorcycle miles wearing these, most recently on a trip through Canada and Alaska. I use mine with my iPod and they work great, especially at speeds below about 70 mph. If you spend a good deal of time above that speed, you may want to upgrade to the HS24 Iasus speakersXSound 2 High End Motorcycle Helmet Speakers.

These are priced ridiculously low. They are very easy to install, very comfortable, and have their own volume control which is very handy, especially if ... Read More
