I have heard better young people as well as many who were not as good. Again I say that with more practice and exposure they will be one of the better groups in the near future. But the ether is where two of the three hung out, so to speak, chatting on a listserv with other Black Banjo enthusiasts. By resurrecting the African-American "Piedmont" style of string-band music, they've brought an electrifying new energy to the genre. I am so glad to see people my age that know what old-time is and are out there playing it.
