It ran fairly quiet but the front grill and 140mm fan on top made it a bit too noisy for me. I was replacing a 5 year old Dell and the Dell was far quieter. The biggest problem for me was the lack of rubber grommets for the hard drive enclosure which seemed to add a lot of vibration and noise to the case. The case fits together well, no phantom vibrations and the air coming out is always cool, despite my Quad core processor and 4 hard drives inside.
