![]() Rating: - Good dealWorked right out of the box which is great because I'm not a techie! It switches between my PC tower and my MacMini using one monitor, USB mouse and keyboard. And the price is RIGHT. Only reason to hold back one star: once in a while it gets a little confused. But it's learning. That seems to be happening less often in the year and a half I've had it. Rating: - Stops working after a few weeksAfter a couple of weeks the mouse stopped being recognized by either laptop. No problem. I just started using a separate mouse for each. Then, a week later, the keyboard stopped being recognized by either laptop. I tried using a separate keyboard for each. But, that was not very convenient. The mouse and keyboard still work fine when plugged directly into either laptop. So, I know the KVM switch is at fault. Rating: - Works GreatI was very skeptical about this product, given some of the mixed reactions it received. The switch is tiny relative to the cabeling required, so it's easily displaced physically, but after wrestling it around under the desk, the switch is working with no functional ... Read More Rating: - Excellent valueI have a home business, and needed to run a work PC and a server using one monitor, keyboard and mouse. This switch is excellent value for money. It took less than 5 minutes to set up, requires no external power source and no software, and has proven highly reliable. There is no degradation of video quality or lag in performance whatever. Both of the PCs attached to my KVM are dual boot Windows/Linux (one Windows XP + Pardus and one Windows Vista + PC Linux OS). Unsurprisingly (given the fact that it is not ... Read More |
