I think its important to state that this movie is really by comparison not the all out gore fest it is sometimes portrayed to be. The shock and horror stems more from the realism in which events such as impalement are shown. That said, I would have to say that Cannibal Holocaust is not as bad as I had been led to believe. It is shocking without a doubt. Gory is also an affirmative.
