![]() Rating: - The OG rappers!Great cd compilation of the original Brooklyn white-boy rappers. This cd has all of their hits, establishing them as one of the original Def Jam, old-school rappers. I love how they included other non-typical hip-hop instruments into their tracks such as rock guitar riffs. A must in any one's hip-hop/rap collection. Definitely your money's worth. JA Rating: - Needs some re-masteringWhile the songs are great, the quality is not good. It sounds like they were recorded from the original masters with nothing being done to improve the transfer. So the older songs sound tinny and grainy, which is very noticable when played on a good stereo. Rating: - Library staple!Full studio versions from the beginning to present in their career of all the important hits. Get this! Rating: - Solid Gold HitsYou know you just cant beat the Beastie Boys. The tracks are just fun to listen to. I have pretty much all there records but I had to grab this. Rating: - Good Collection, But "I" Think They Missed A Few.Well, it basically collects their most "Well-known" hits, but I think it missed some really good ones, like: Three MC's and One DJ - Hello Nasty Remote Control - Hello Nasty Hey F**k You - To The Five Boroughs Regardless, it's still a pretty good collection, I'd reccomend it. |
