![]() Rating: - "Mild" Language?I am a big fan of adventure games in general, and got this game on vacation this summer. I had only played it a few minutes when there was a d**n and h**l. I expected this. In my mind that is "mild" language, however, that is not the extent of the severity of the language. Immediately following these words was a G-d**n. I really hate to spell it out, but I am a Christian and this type of language really offends me. Other than the language this game looked very promising. The graphics were really ... Graphics/plot/atmosphere are well thought out, puzzles are interesting (you don`t need to be MENSA to solve any of them, unlike another reviewer said), I never had to use a walkthrough for difficult bits (a first), however the nibirus` cardinal sin is its HORRIBLE ENDING. Henceforth I would recommend you purchase the Black Mirror from the same developers instead, which I enjoyed way more. Also Scratches and There was None were satisfying games. Rating: - Almost like it...The game is interesting, but there are a couple of issues that make it painfull to play this game. I agree with many other reviews that the puzzles are either 'moronic' or 'rocket science' and that the voices and character movements simply suck. Otherwise, I wish the game had more detail and was longer. Rating: - NiBiRu...The Mysterious Planet of CheeseLet's start with the a positive note: the background graphics are gorgeously done which remind me of the Myst game series. I think the game would come across even better if they made it first person instead of the awful third person graphics they laid on top of the background graphics. The characters body/ergonomic movements remind me of second generation Nintendo graphics - awful! Then there is the voice acting/scripting - just terrible; sooo unnatural you can almost hear the pages in ... Read More Rating: - pretty goodThis is a great game to spend a Saturday on. Its very short but the graphics are really good. Your character does move way to slow and the dialog can get pretty boring at times. I mostly like the puzzles, some were a challenge and to me the best. If you want action this game is not for you. If you like to take things slow and relax then buy this game. |
